New Comics This Wednesday, July 1

We’re gonna lead with Image Comics this week, as Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard reunite for a surprise one-shot Walking Dead story: Negan Lives #1!! Available exclusively at comic book stores (like us)! Also from Kirkman, along with artist Chris Samnee, there’s Fire Power Vol. 1 TP. This is a prelude to a brand new series!

I’ll keep going with Image and The Goddamned: Virgin Brides #1! Writer Jason Aaron and artist RM Guera return to the stark and brutal world of their biblical-noir epic for a long-awaited second chapter.

Meanwhile, it’s a total off-week for DC Comics. Due to their change of distributor, they had to skip a week. But then they’re doubling up next week. It’s also a skip week for Marvel, as the House of Ideas has just a couple trades coming out.
