LOCAL COMIC SHOP DAY!
LOCAL COMIC SHOP DAY (LCSD) is a national event designed to celebrate locally owned independent comic book stores... like us!
In honor of the event, we'll have numerous LIMITED EDITION ITEMS for sale being released this Saturday only and only at participating LCSD stores.
But before we get to that... In years past, we've had some very sweet LCSD parties, which we hope you have all enjoyed. This year, unfortunately, we cannot legitimately call this a party (and still respect ourselves in the morning). Sorry.
Fact is, there are things going on at the store that just didn't allow us enough time to put together a party for you this year. So to make it up to you, we're gonna put everything in the store (with one asterisk) on sale for 40% OFF! One day and one day only. You can make it your own personal party!
** The only asterisk... the sale doesn't apply to supplies or items already on sale (like the clearance TPBs at the front of the store), and it doesn't apply to the LCSD items. Everything else is fair game! Including the comics in your box! **
Now as for those LCSD items, in the past we've given them short shrift. But the simple fact is, this year they are waaaaaay better! There are basically two categories: 1) COVER PRICE ITEMS, and 2) PREMIUM ITEMS. So let's check 'em out!

This comic doesn't even come out til next Wednesday, but you can get it a week early on LCSD! Featuring the talents of Spawn series artist Jason Shawn Alexander and Rodney Barnes, the writer behind such hit shows as Runaways and American Gods.
