Over the next few months, MARVEL LEGACY will usher in the dramatic return of dozens of its most beloved heroes, villains, teams and artifacts in bold stories that will begin the next chapter of the Marvel Universe. A return to original series numbering will serve as a rallying cry for old fans, and a dynamic new trade dress will signal a clean jumping-on point for new readers.
Below you will find several renumbering charts to see just how Marvel arrived at the new series numbers!
And did we mention that each issue will have three bonus MARVEL PRIMER PAGES that will encapsulate the unique world of each character and reveal what’s led them to Marvel Legacy? These Primers will be written by Robbie Thompson, and will feature new art by Mark Bagley and others
Additionally, Marvel returns to an untapped corner of its expansive history for Marvel Legacy with the return of the MARVEL VALUE STAMPS. This nostalgia-based program is designed to appeal not only to core fans, but to give new readers an added extra bonus when they jump in on the start of Marvel Legacy. Comic fans may remember these fondly, while new fans and the uninitiated will be able to enjoy them without destroying their prized possessions!
These stamps will be on inserts within the regular cover editions only for all first issue Marvel Legacy titles, beginning with titles debuting in October. And a proper homage to these collectible stamps wouldn’t be complete without a collectible stamp album – to be revealed!
